Im sure there is a write up on here about this but real quick, Whats the best all around 1 3/4in CLR for a die to do Bumpers, Stingers, Cages and stuff like this? I am aware of what it means just dont want to spend the money wrong cause those things are expensice! Thanks

I don't know if there is a "right" answer. I like the tightest die possible, but that does limit how thin you can bend, and you also need to remember that if it's for competition, a lot of sanctioning bodies require a CLR that is at least 3X the tube diameter (which would be 5.25" for 1.75" tube).

I would say it depends on the thickness tubing you intend to bend the most. I went with 5.5" CLR.

We sell mostly 5.5" radius dies for the JD2 benders in 1-3/4" material.

With that said, you need to decide what the minimum wall thickness you'd like to bend will be. If it's .095, you can go with the 5.5". Want to go to .083"? Then you'll need to look towards the 6.5" radius. Keep in mind, you can always go heavier.
