Please join me in a moment of silence for those Americans who have been killed by cowards today, their families and friends, and the brave men and women who are trying to rescue them.

It is in times like this that Americans have shined, and I think that the worms who planned and executed the attack have committed a grave mistake. Like so many others before them (The British, the Spanish, the Japanese, the Germans, the Iraqis), they've underestimated our resolve, our courage and our determination, and I pray that our President and Armed Forces unleash hell upon these bastards.

God Bless America!

I spent the better part of my adult life studying, identifying and trying to
understand terrorism. In fact, I have a Masters of Science in Strategic
Intelligence.

During my training, I happened to do my thesis on the 1993 bombing of the
World Trade Center.

Folks, this hits home very hard with me.

I pray our Government will be strong, root out the Bastards responsible for
this and turn Delta and the SEAL's loose on them.

Cruise missiles are too good for this group.

Sincerly saddened,

Nolen

I put my mother on a plane to Maine Last night at 1:00am. For a while there I had no idea if she was alright or not. She is still stuck in Philli at the airport and no one can get a hold of her.

I hope this is taken care of quickly and definitively

A complete act of cowardice....

The pictures of Palestinians cheering this attack makes me sick...People who support and encourage these cowardly acts only understand and fear overwhelming military actions, that is the main reason that Israel still stands.

Our response may already be beginning, something small and fast and with the afterburner on just scrambled out of Dulles International. I pray it's not to knock out another hijacked airliner out of the sky.

My only hope is that we declare war as a country. The only problem there is, who do you declare war against? Declaring war on Terrorism is like declaring war on Drugs. It is an empty senseless act.

We need to target with extreme prejudice those who have financed, harbored and encouraged known terrorism.

Again, no cruise missiles. I speak from experience when I say we target our retalitory strikes at 3 am when we are more likely to kill the janitorial team than the Intelligence team.

Cold Steel and Biceps are the way to return terror to these cowards.

I lifted this from the CNN site. Thought you might like to hear it.
It is a direct quote from Bush.

• President Bush calls the crashes "a national tragedy." Later in the day,
Bush issues a statement from Barksdale AFB near Shreveport, Louisiana.
"Make no mistake: The United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts."

Senseless, cowardly acts. I work in a television station, and the feeds that we are getting from this are abhorrable.

I do encourage everyone to remember that there has not been any claimed responsibility yet. We cannot blame a group or country without knowing the facts yet. This could have been done by american radicals for all we know. Regardless, I am sure that the justice will be swift when all is learned.

I agree with all the above! Sorry, I can't help but think that this was the most perfect act of terrorism (if there ever can be..I hope you know what I mean). This act of terrorism now seems so simple and so well executed and it was practically FREE, only the cost of their plane tickets. The use of commuter jets as their bombs. No explosives, just jet fuel that can't be put out by the fire systems in the WTC. They don't use foam do they? I still cannot believe the sickness that these people(?) can inflict on another human life. They have no regard for life..that is how they live. There 8 year old boys are already in their (sic) military and heavily armed, it is an honor for them to die for there "cause". I say find out what group or country was responsible for this and wipe that country off the face of the earth! They have no reason to exist and to watch them celebrate on CNN made me want to cry and puke, if I could only get my hands around their necks!

I am watching CNN in horror, and I would just like to say that my heart goes out to you in the U.S. especially anyone who is even remotely affected personally by this. This is truly a national tragedy and we in Canada are with you all the way. Sincerly yours, Paul Klassen.

I have been a professional firefighter for 12 years and seen many terrible things and yet I have been tearful many times today. Make no mistake, Americas resolve and power will only increase as a result of this event!

I have felt a wild array of emotions today and wish that I could do more for the families.

I can only say that this has been the most terrible act against our country, our freedom, and our people that I have ever could have imagined. I think that the hatred that has caused this horrible day, needs to be put to an end.... and I agree with all of you, and Nolen, believing that cruise missles are to good for them. I believe that they should be sought out and killed... and in by no means a fashionable manor.... I would favor more for a long and drawn out death to all of those involved in plotting such an act. No amout of torture will ever equal the suffering and loss that has been felt today. Deepest regards and sympathy.....
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The sorrow and the loss is horrifying.
The cowards should be hunted down and killed along with anyone associated with this act of terrorism.
The country they come from should be bombed back to the stone age.
It's time that our country steps up to the plate and demonstrates to the world that we are a force not to mess with.
To quote a saying from the days of the Vietnam war "kill them all and let God sort them out."
We've got the power, we've got the technology, I just hope George has the balls to take 'em out.

I feel the need to add my voice to the millions of others who are feeling a mix of emotions. Anger, sadness, and a variety of others. Nothing like this has ever happened. People have likened it to Pearl Harbor, I disagree. At least Pearl Harbor was directed at the government and not at innocent civilians. I just don't understand how anybody could do something like this to fellow human beings. I am going to go for a cruise.

JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE SWIFT AND THE PUNISHMENT SHOULD BE PUBLIC. THE AMERICAN GOVERMENT SHOULD DO LIKE THERE DO IN THE MIDDLE EAST. MARCH THESE BASTARDS DOWN THE STREET AND LET ALL WHO WISH TO CAST A STONE, BRICK, BOTTLE OR JUST CLUB THEM. THERE IS REALLY NO WAY TO PUNISH SOMEONE WHO HAS KILLED SO MANY.

This cowardly act of terrorism was uncalled for....I sickens me to know that somebody could do this to our country. I only hope that we can find out who is responsible soon. Then once we do find out, BLOW THEM OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET!!!!!!! They do not deserve to live. I hate to see innocent children and adults die due to retaliation, but we do not have a choice. Obviously, they didn't care about our innocent men, women and children. We need to make sure this NEVER happens again!
