I am getting ready to do a 1/4 ellip on a 4 runner, but I want the front to flex 1/2 way descent... what is the best flexing front spring setup. I know the 44044's, but I wanted to steer clear of them in general because they like to bend. How about orbit eye springs? I like those, and with a buggy bar... Hmmm forget it, I think I just figured it out.

First off, I would NEVER buy anything from All Pro ever again. Been dicked by Jon one time too many, and I know of plenty of other people that had the smae problems. I think I am gonna go through crawltec and get some of Alans Springs. They ROCK. go to www.crawltec.com

I've yet to see anyone have any problems with 44044's. I love mine, and think they are actually a pretty strong pack (6 leafs) for being as flexy as they are.

I like the rear toys I put on mine because of the way I did the suspension. The Military wrap that the 44044's doesn't have plus the extra 2" of wheel base.

you can't get a good approach angle from a spring that moves the axle forward(towards the front of the vehicle) 2" I don't get it??? BrianR had a point with his post

Have you personally seen them bend or you just ? I haven't bent mine yet and I don't even run bumpstops. Unless you're set on making more work for yourself, 44044's up front and Chevy rears will get you over any trail out there with minimal work and cost.

The sale items are listed on their front page, just under the picture of the white Toy.

All you have to use is the main 2 leaves - why can you not get a good approach angle?

Simply mix in some more arched elaves and you are set

The main benefit of the stock rears is the mil wrap and the 2" forward axle anyway...

Looked at the sale, wanted the stock length springs, good price on longer ones though. How much of a difference do the longer ones make over stock length? (Couldn't find on search, wasnt working)

Oh yeah, Bob - I like the "Stealth Bomber" front bumper. That'd be kinda cool if it hid from police radar. Hmm...
