I finally did the bob this past weekend. First I determined the length and went from there. After a carefull layout session and final check, I started cutting. 16" are what came out of my lonbed and it is very short now. I still haven't sanded the bondo down tho. Then today was a trip to the Big O tire shop for my five new 35" Bigfoot X/T's, a downgrade from my 36's, but a much better fit and smoother ride to boot. I almost feel like I have a new truck now too. I also took a four wheelin' day and went to hit the rocks . Low and behold, the traction was great and no more hangy uppy of the rear as well as no more fender crunching. As for the Big O's, I had my doubts, but for wet boulders, the tread and center sipes gripped flawlessly, unlike my most worn Buckshots. Yep, this winter is gonna be a good one.
