To start off with I stole all this off a local board that i posted my junk on. This is totally a budget build for me. and when I have time and money I work on it.

so here we go

This is my first Buggy build ever 90% of this is build is all my design in my head...lol ( thats not good) personaly I do a ton of research that led me here. I love the low wide big tire look but unfortunatly it just won't work for me here on the West coast. Since my whole life has been in the performance industry you know this bitch will make some power but I don't wanna get too crazy. anyways before we get into my junk here I will appologize before hand for CAP'S my computer here at work only uses cap's and sometime I jump back and forth between work and play ;D

Well this all started many many moon's ago over a drunk'in conversation down at K.O.H. and the ball was set in a very very slow moving roll. the main thing's I wanted was a chassis that I could beat the shit out of and never worrie about it. I decided to go with cromo mainly cuz I could get a stupid good deal on it. this build started off shooting for the moon and since I have two teen age boy's it has been pulled way back.........waaay back. this whole build is not a priority to me and I play with it as time and money permit's. my wife and I are all about our family and we spend a ton of time with our boy's. it's not uncommon to be at somesort of a sport event 7 day's a week between games and practices.

Anyway's the main chassis is 1 3/4 .120 wall cromo and a mix of 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 here and there. the biggest concern's for me was that i had enough room for my fat ass to be comfy all day long. i bought a truck load of tube around 280 feet and started hoarding parts. the list of junk as follow's

ESTIMATED DATE I GOT THIS BACK HOME AND STARTED WAS LATE 2011 EARLY 2012

Chassis spec's

got a little more done on the dash this past weekend. early last week I got the main dash bent up. I was a little freaked out cutting and notching the dash for some reason but i got it.. doesnt look to bad either :) I already had the console part mapped out for gauge location and width and everything. at lunch I'll shear it and bend it up too

progress is bueno and good for my brain

you can see where the dotted lins are in the console is where it will get sheared and the solid line is where i'll bend it. The drilled holes are where I will use a knock out punch for the 2 5/8 gauges

well at lunch I got the console bent up and sheared. got a call from cody that he had the tool to punch out the 2 5/8 holes for the gauges so I ran over to his house and poppd out the holes.. that damn hole punch is bad ass done with all 5 holes in 5 minutes including B.S. ing anyway got home and of course had to mock it up to see how it looks :Big Grin: exactly what I envisioned

haven't done crap on this for awhile. I did order more tube to finish the front end and shock mounts. most tubes are already cut to length and just need to be notched.

My youngest was selected to be on the national middle school Gold wrestling team to represent the state of Nevada so we went to L.A. for a weekend where he took 3rd as a team and 2nd over all. should have been 1st but he was tired from our all night drive and making it there 3 hours before weight in's. anyways not much progress
Looks great, I wanting to do a 6.0 fj 40 hood and windshield rig. But I want it to be a 4 seated

Not much going on right now. I did get the tab's for the dash welded in and the cross bar

first pic here I made a pointed bolt woohoo!! to mark the dash to drill the holes. I put the bolt in my drill and turned my flap disk on and had at it. turned out pretty good

and the dash

done

bolts that are in there will not be staying :flipoff2:

Didn't see that coming.
How much are you asking? PM with the details please.
Thank for the support Jesse :flipoff2:
I wasn't being sarcastic. Seems like you started making some good progress then nothing for months.

Since the buggy is still hanging in the garage and I had some down time for once I
Took some time this weekend and mounted the seat's and center console

Also make the tab template to mount the radiator. I already have the puck's in the pic to weld to the radiator and the ARP 3/8 bolts
