Hey guys i am looking for either ideas on a front bumper or does anyone no who makes them for my 84 toy. I need it to hold a whinch and need it to be strong enough for the trail. thanks.

AllPro. They have changed their bumper slightly since I bought this one, but it's still the same idea.

thanks. I have been on the allpro site and really like what u guys have and it looks like they can handle a whinch just fine. what else is out there that isn't tubing? do you guys know of anyone making them? Need to see whats out there before i get started. thanks agian for your posts.

<font color="yellow">It's not... at least not if you start with an existing bumper. I found a Warn Classic bumper on a bronco II in a wrecking yard. Pulled it, used a sawzall to trim it (Toyota = curved front bumper & grille, Bronc2 = straight as a board) and built me some mounts.

It's 5/16" in the winch bumper area, and has taken a hell of a beating pushing down dead trees on occasion. I had to winch the right end straight after I pretty much dropped the truck onto it.

Wish i could make my own but don't have a bender don't have a welder and the people i live with don't really give me much room to work with. And most importantly don't have the know how.

Toy Family could hook you up with a sweet custom made bumper...not sure how much...he made mine and he's built several with winch mounts...he's done cages...and his own flatbed...he knows what he's doing...give him a try...if you want, email me with you phone # and I could give it to him...he lives in Rocklin
