Hope somebody can help- I got a flexplate with the ring gear put on in the wrong place. My best option is to move the ring over and reweld it for a few reasons. So, if anyone has a 304,360, 401, ANY amc flexplate, I need to know how far the center line of the ring gear is from the front flange of the plate where it bolts to the crank. I'm at 1/2 inch now and would like to verify before burning it on.
I'd check at the parts store, but this whole mess is mostly their fault and I would NOT trust another off the shelf unit.

Call the dealership, maybe they can measure for you.

Someone else may have a part from the same parts chain, that's why I would call the dealer.
