I picked up one of the PETT toilets for the trail but their portable shelter/room was a tad pricey. I ordered one of these instead. :D It's a pop-up type that goes up in a flash and folds down just as quick. Plenty of room for the potty or can be used as changing room or shower. Check it out...

 Obviously you have not been paying attention. Maybe you should spend more time in the 'Land use' or 'Rubicon' forums... :flipoff2:

thanks for the link Glenn. FOr us guys with wives/kids (epspecially

little daughters) this type of equipment is one sure-way that

they can still want to go camping and not worry about the

toilet issues....

my wife isn't exactly a redneck-type mountain girl...... (and there's

nothing wrong with the ones that are BTW)

I found this the other day, any comments about it? I am considering this package. For what it includes, the price seems reasonable. Just another one for you guys to consider

$189 for:

*45" x 45" x 80" enclosure
*Poles, rope and stakes for securing the unit
*Shower head, tubing, 12 volt pump and 5 gallon bucket
*Adapter to plug pump into cigarette lighter/battery pack
*Toilet bucket with seat, lid and degradable bags
*Carrying bag

Thats pretty cool.I would like to see what they are using for a pump.I'm trying to find a 12volt submersible for hot water.Going to the marine store is too expensive.

That site has all kinds of great ideas.

These are OK, my only complaint is that it didn't have a floor in it so you ended up coming up with a tarp or something to stand on.

We use the coleman port-a-shitter like Lance mentioned and then just find three trees that are close together, put the crapper in the middle and run tarp around it. Throw a roll of TP on a tree branch and your good to go (pun intended).

I just keep envisioning a strong gust of wind followed by the "WHRRR" of ripping nylon; the "WHAT THE FU...!!!" of the poor shmo/shmoette sitting on that bucket, and the "BAHAAAHAAHAA!!" of the campfire of people staring at their "indisposed" former friend.:D
