My truck is rubbing really bad with my new tires. I need a lift asap. I'm looking for a sky jacker, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg. I need those to get into my truck. Would like to know if anyone knows a good - not so pricey place - to order this type of lift from - thanks for everything.

Watch in the for sale section. Usually people are selling lifts after they go to a solid axle.

I'm sure you have been told this, but I would go with a solid axle. You will just be wasting money by lifting the IFS. I'm not saying anything is wrong with IFS trucks, just saying that you will end up wanting a solid axle.

I haven't seen a skyjacker lift for the ifs yota...but i've seen most of the others and they are wimpy JUNK (pro-comp and trailmaster come to mind)!!!

The superlift ifs kit is the strongest one that i've seen. But you'll end up wanting the sas in the end. I'd probably go with a dana 44 or 60 with an arb or ox locker for the sas.

Second the Superlift idea if you're going with an IFS lift. By all accounts the ProComp kit is trash. I know folks who are pretty happy with the Trailmaster kit, but the nicest of the 3 I've looked at is Superlift's...better crossmember and the option to order it with add-a-leafs or blocks.

I had the Skyjacker on my 88, and really liked it. It was the best of the bunch, when I went shopping. The front crossmembers were well braced and I liked the 4" rear springs.

A SA is great in the rocks, but I wonder if all the California guys who are dismissing all other options have ever been to Roanoke?
