How much is a lot? I have my filter about a foot from the pump and I get a lot of water and about a 1/4" of oil in it after a full day of airing up 3 rigs or working with the power tools.

I just carry a little squeeze bottle and some 30W with me. every time I dump the filter jar, I squeeze a couple ounces of oil into the side fill hole of the york.

My filter is just a standard Campbell Hausefeld glass bowl style with a steel cage around it. Easy to remove and drain, seems to be holding up well. $24.
I have a full write up on my York install at
www.cascadecrawlers.com in the toyota tech section.
