I think I finally found the BOM#, but it just doesnt seem right to me.

BOM# 61000o-1R

Please let me know something about it, or if I am even reading the right number

Forgot, this is what I know so far.

D44 frontend out of a 77 or 78 F250 came with a matching D60FF rear.

I have not been able to find the BOM on that site. Still looking for help. By the way the last digit could be either a <0,O,8,or even maybe a 9> thanks

Okey dokey, 610008-1 is a '77 D-60 LOW-PINION 4.10:1 for a F-250 CrewCab.

610006 is D-44 for a '77 F-250.

Better double check that number or post a pick.

No 610000 or 610009 BOM to be found for a front axle. I suspect 610000 isn't valid at all.

the only thing the axle has on it is something that looks like a lowercase "o", so I would think it would be an "6" that just didnt come out all the way. I will try to find out tomorrow and let you know

Thanks

Have not been able to find the exact number still. It appears that the stamp did not go all the way. If someone can explain to me how to enter the number into the dana expert site I will try myself. Everytime I enter it like it looks it says cannot find match.
Also I found a pic on Ebay that looks just like mine. Here is the pic or link.
Update: still have not been able to get the correct number, now it looks like a "5" Should be able to post pic by this weekend
