As normal I marked it all poorly when I pulled it apart so I'm lost now

Do the supply/return lines on a saginaw box need to be in specific holes in the box? They are both the same hose end so I am guessing that it doesn't matter which goes where. I thought the box decided where the pressure went. I just want to be sure.

Thanks in advance!

I think you are correct. I removed the ends of the old lines from the box (yes I cut them off with the sawzall...what of it? ) The one on the left looking at it from the front of the Jeep has a check valve in it. I'm guessing that is the supply. That makes the other the return....I hope!

Thanks all!

here it is, "for sure" even. The port at the rear of the box (closest to the steering column) is the return port, the box up front is the feed port.
