I am adding rear disk brakes to my Jeep Waggy D44 axle and need to know if Chevy has a rear non vented (thin) rear rotor with a 6x5.5 lug pattern. I am looking for one about 11" diameter.

Also, what are the new chevys doing for parking brakes on the trucks with rear disks.

take a look at the non-vented toy rotors,they are 6 lug.

the newer rear disc trucks have a mini-drum parking brake in the hat of the rotor.

You could use vented disk if you went with a older Caddy rear caliper... like off of a 79-85 El Dorado, they have a mechanical ebrake and they'll fit over most vented rotors. Check out www.tsmmfg.com for some good reference info!

The new gm parking brake design sucks. The clips that hold the brake shoe in place are prone to breaking, and you end up destroying your brake show and rotor.
