I left my manual in San Diego. I'm replacing the rear main seal but I don't know the the torque specs for the bearing cap. This is on a 258 in a 87 Wrangler.
Thanks,

Acording to the Mopar Jeep Engines book, Part number: P5007161

The main bearing cap torque spec is: 80(ft-lbs.)

If yer going to retorque the others that were not removed, the "Service In-Use Recheck Torque" is: 75-85 (ft-lbs.)
