One thing on the battery in the subframe, make sure its easy to get at. We had a battery go out on DSI's rig at a BITD race and the subframe battery mount made it a real pain in the ass. Mainly because half the car had to come apart and two it was a smaller Odeyse battery so none of the dozen Optima's we could borrow would fit.

The way it is designed right now the battery will slide out the back of the subframe. It is laying down with the terminals fully accessible. I’ve never had to in a race but on the trails I’ve pulled many batteries and the quicker you can make it the better.

Thinking about cutting it out of 14 gauge. It is 16 lb right now. But I can get it to 8 lb with going to 14 gauge

Top gussets to the lower link mounts. No dimpled holes since stuff will mount off of these

Motor and tranny going in

All for now!

Moar progress.

Now that the seats are placed I can get to the b pillars. I wanted them really high to give good side protection near the shoulders

This bar is removable to allow easy access to the tranny and t case
