Decided i want to go with the Twisted Customs Grand Cherokee hood. I was going to make my own out of ZJ skins....again. but when i factor junk yard sheet metal and my time buying a hood is so much better.

Again, moar from today.

Belly is braced and the suspension gussets are capped.

I left them open with the triangle holes to allow dirt and crap to be washed out. With the dimpled holes I know crap will get in there.

And now for the bracing

the belly is only 11" deep. same as my current chassis. but my seats sit 3/4" lower in this chassis then my current one.

i was able to meet the roof clearance spec and get a 74" roof height with a 20" belly.

well....i'm gonna save some coin here. should go out on the CNC tomorrow night.

TH400 to Atlas adapter. will be making them from T6061 aluminum. i have the plans for one with a VSS in it but i think those will get heat treaded since they will be about 2" longer.

right now this is 1.5" long.

the old buggy next to it. hard to beleive that with the same belly clearance the hood, cowl and roof will be 3" lower then the old one.

This is my current idea of the arm bars, rear half and roof lines. probably not so much of a rake on the a pillar though.
