I have a new dilemma. Allpro 4 or 5.5 lift rear springs?Allpro says the 4.s flex better than the 5.s anyone care to comment? <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

We started out with only the 5" springs with the plan that they would work with 35" tires. Later we added the 4" springs thinking it would be nice for those running smaller tires. As we started going up in tire size to 37" and 38" we found our rigs were simply getting too tall. Now we build our rigs with the 4" springs and cut the fire wall back for tire clearance. This allows us to keep the larger tires with less lift. We now allways recommend the 4" springs.

I know I know I just wanted an unbiased opinion and somebody that had 5.s already and if they would use 4.s instead now because All Pro says that they are "better".Also I plan to use the 44044s up front and don't want to be saggin in the back. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I run the 5.5s in the rear and realy like the way they flex but they tend to flatten out a little with use there a nice match with the 35 14.50 ssr but i,m 91 extra cab and a wiegh a little more than most, I wouldn't run the 4s myself i'm gona block them up a little when i go to 38 sx this spring just my .02

come to the rubicon on the 19,20 and 21 of this month. you will see both allpro 4"(me) and 5.5"(vova, pat) lift rear springs in action and judge for yourself. maybe someone with chevy's will be there and you can see those too(hint,hint)... <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

I run the all-pro 5.5" springs and they flex great. Only problem is I don't have any pictures of it right now, will try to get some.

My expeirience with the 5.5's is that they flex well but they tend to sag , at least with my 4-runner they sagged to the hieght of a 3"-4" spring

run a 5 and pull the two bottom springs out.
I did but put them back cuz it looked kinda saggy. I run stock waggs front. Need to beat the all-pro springs more to see if they loosen up some. 13inches out of the "box" 5inches in buggie

I really like my Allpro's. This is a pic. of them at Moab. I have 35 BFG's on this trip.
To be honest i didn't like the springs at first. They were fairly stiff. It took about 5-6 trips to get them to flex. Now i really like them a lot. They sit level with the 44044's. Your more then welcome to come over and check them out.
I would recommend them to people who want to just put in some springs and wheel. If you're into building spring packs then some Mazdas or cheveys would be cool. those are cheaper too.
