O'well, only paid $250 for the whole deal with a butt-load of extra parts, so it works out.

Question. I was reading on the ColoradoK5 website axle identification deal, and it said the d44 only came under 1/2 tons and the 60 commonly came under the 3/4's.
Whats the deal with the front?
According to their chart it appears to be a 44 but the statements contradict themsevels.
HELP

I would e mail them cause they only come in the one ton chevys. The early d60 has a four bolt plate on top of the knuckle instead of the single nut of the ball joint.Yhe d44 is also smaller.I wouldnt worry though that pair of axles here in Washington sells for 400.00 for the pair with 4.10s all the time.

Cool truck!!As far as axles they are a 14bolt and dana 44.I have never seen a 60 on a 3/4 chevy stock only on 1 tons. Most 3/4ton 44s are strong than the 1/2tons though. The housing are thick and less prone to bending.Blazin
