87 Suburban 4X4

After cleaning up all the bearing in my front end, I've decided to replace them with new. In doing so on the back axle, I put in new races but I got to thinking about it. If the races are in good condition, is it necessary to replace them when you install new wheel bearings? Thanks.

if you replace the bearing replace the race as well.

You probably know this but I didn't - the races have part numbers as well. I'm running a hub conversion on my truck and ordered the bearing and race set and the depth of the race was different from the race in the conversion. Just an FYI
