Warning: Potentially stupid question ahead....

Can these be adapted to an FJ80 front axle and is there any benefit (I saw the final link mentions Fj40 and Fj60, but specifically not the 80)? I'm assuming the '91 and up LC had larger brakes anyway but I'm not sure....
80 hubs are a shorter overall length, about 1/2"so these hubs and Brake kits cannot be used on an 80 series. The brakes we can put on the pickups with these are much larger than what came on 80 series!
Interestingly, the 80 rear hubs are also different, and are longer than these hubs. We do offer new 80 series front and rear wheel hubs now as well

Ah...gotcha. I meant the 80 series had larger brakes than mini trucks of equivalent years. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm building a '99 4Runner with a custom width (+4") FJ80 front and Tundra 8.4" rear and while I have the parts for newer 4Runner discs in the rear, I was going to leave the FJ80 stuff up front stock with an FJ80 Master (but plan to run 37s). Would have liked to upgrade to larger brakes, but I get that the FJ80 front end isn't nearly as popular as the mini truck.
check out our Keyed high steer setup if youve not already!
