I got a wild hair while enjoying this unusually nice weather and decided to put some scraps I had laying around to good use. I built a "catch whatever comes around" trap. After the paint dries, I am gonna set it out tomorrow and see what comes to visit...

A Rabbit Gum, kind of. Sweet. I built one when I was a kid. Read how to do it in one of the Fox Fire books (were the only books I ever checked out of our Jr. High library). I never caught anything but the barn cats with mine.

I made one much like that when i was a navy brat in the P.I. my target animals were pigs but i only ever caught monkeys , lots of them. my guess is if i had caught a pig it would have just walked threw the back !
