I have an adjustable trac bar made with heim joints for my daily driver which sees salt, rain, road grime, etc, etc. The heims get corroded and begin to make an annoying noise that gets transmitted into the cab. I've cleaned and lubed them but it only lasts for about 3 weeks then the noise starts again.

What are my options? Could I switch over to greasable ones?

Thanks

I would but the up and lower mounts are slightly offset from each other.

Bend the trac bar

All heims at one point or another will need replaced unless you can rebuild them. Street driving most likely = lots of miles = wear out faster than if off-road only.

If you want to keep heims then go rebuildable.. evo or summit. Neither are cheap.

summit sells these little "dust " covers that are basicly a TRE boot with a small washer. i have used them on a few small projects. but they do not seal the joint, just cover it
