Hey Roger.

I'd prefer to sell it all together. Have a couple interested parties. If I sell it and they don't want the plate, you're welcome to it.

I'm gonna run a 203<->205, with D60 and 14B axles.

Gave my old '76 knuckles and a bunch of other cruiser crap to Nick Demarest, who is now up in your neck of the woods. Don't know if he has a use for him. Check with Nick.

Dropping the price. Now $950, and I'll throw in the modified FJ55 tranny hump cover. If I don't sell it here I'll put it on ebay.
  • NP203 GRB, rebuilt two years ago, including new 10-spline input gear and factory SM465 adapter.
  • AA NP203 <-> cruiser tcase adapter
  • "4spd" tcase rebuilt two years ago, including several new hard parts
  • Pardi plate across back
  • Anway plate across top
  • AA crossmember
  • shifter linkages
  • driveshafts suitable for SOA pig
  • custom skid plate suitable for pig
  • extended speedo cable, long parking brake cable
  • ButchBuilt-modified tranny hump cover, with extra extension for triple-stick tcase shifters. Includes three very expensive Caterpillar backhoe shifter boots!
Some pics:

I can take more pics if you've got requests.

Low miles on the whole thing. I only do a couple trail runs a year, otherwise it's in the garage. This is bolt-on 105:1 low gears for your piggy.

Price is $950 plus shipping. I will band to a pallet and can get it to a business for truck freight pickup.

Do you think this LC doubler setup would fit in a 4runner?
I don't see why not. You'd need an SM465 transmission in front. But it might be easier to go with one of the doublers made expressly for your tranny and tcase, like the Marlin Crawler or Inchworm stuff.

But yes, it would work.

dual cases

I'm putting a chevy motor and 700r tranny in my 4runner. I thought this doubler would be stronger and maybe just as easy to install being i'm going to use adapters of some kind. Is the yoke for your rear driveshaft center with the driveline or is it offset like the front driveshaft? What do you mean 4speed tranfercase,does the LC case have many gear ranges? I'm interested. Could you give me your oppinion?

Yes, tcase outputs are both offset to the passenger side. Land Cruisers have an offset rear diff where yours is centered. The "4spd" transfer case is really a misnomer, but it's what everyone calls it. There was a cast aluminum transfer case for land cruisers from 1963 - 1974 that had hi-lo, 2wd/4wd mated to the three-speed transmission. That's style #1. Then there was a similar but different tcase mated to the 4spd transmission from 1974 to 1982. (I think it was 1982.) That's style #2. By "4spd" tcase I mean 1974-1982.

I sure would like to sell this thing, but it's probably not for you. I'm selling it with a very rare and desireable SM465 10-spline adapter, which wouldn't be worth much to you with your 700R4, and it's setup for a cruiser offset rear axle.

Let me know if you've got more questions. And everyone else: Please buy my doubler.

bump &...

If you change your mind let me know. May be more of a headache to break up but easier to move- seems like there is alot of interest in seperate parts.

I have a NV4500 I am trying to sell if that is of any interest- won't fit in my '40 with a doubler but should go in a Pig.- even have a 23-spline input and modified bearing retainer that will mate it to a 203 w/o any adapter...
