I've given up on looking for a 32 spline input NP205 for my doubler setup. I do however, have an empty big bearing 8 bolt pattern case. I scored a ford NP205 for free and I'm interested in swapping the guts from the ford case to the GM case.
I roughly measured the distance on the shift rails on the 2 cases and they appear to be the same.

Jeds has no problem making me a 31 spline 203 shaft so I can even run the ford input and take advantage of the beefy ford outputs

Can this be done? I've googled and searched a bunch on here.

But to answer your question, many of the internal swap, but not all. I couldn't tell you which don't. Shift rails don't.
