Can I use a GM 205 rear output in a Ford 205? I happen to have one lying around and I want to replace the slip yoke style in the Ford with a fixed yoke.

Also does anyone know where I can get a kit for 205 with all the bearings and seals?

Or am I gonna have to do this the long way, one piece at a time as I get to it, like I just did with my D60? What a PITA that was, but you guys did help a lot though.

Thanks

I don't remember what it was in exactly. It was a Ford. I know that for sure. It had a high pinion eight lug Dana 44 in front. I'm guessing a '78 or '79 F250?

Now about MY questions.

1. Can I use the 205 Chevy rear out put on the Ford?

2. Any one know of some one that puts together a rebuild kit?

I would like to get all the bearings and seals at the same time this time. And not find out later that most of them are the wrong size and have to exchange them. <IMG SRC="smilies/rasta.gif" border="0">
