I was thinking of converting my chevy 205 to a fixed yoke on the rear when I realized that the ford 205's I had laying there were fixed yoke on the rear. My question is if I can swap the tailshaft out of the ford 205 into the chevy 205? Tried searching this with no luck. Thanks for any help that can be provided

Thanks for the input, I appreciate the help. Was looking at sye kits then thought of the possiblity. What kind of mods should I look at doing to the chevy case while I have it apart? Only thing I've ever used these for is on my snowplow trucks.

I'm using a Ford rear output with a GM tail housing. Works fine for me. I also have the Ford 32 spline front output and 31 spline female input (doubler). No mods that I know of that are useful for a plow, but twin stick is nice for a crawler. That's about it...
