He was the first person I looked to... no dice (he said it would be some time before he might beable to get one). If it comes down it, im gonna have to cought up the extra money for a 1350 series and have to get a 1330 to 1350 conversion joint. But maybe i get lucky and someone has one layin around they'd beable to part with.
If you're going to go with upgrading your whole shaft, compare the cost of 1410's. Might as well put the biggest you can right off the bat. A donor driveshaft will be off a 89-93 Dodge 3/4T and up, generally with a cummins. This is the route I went, yokes were about 60-75 bucks an end. Picked my shafts up for $40, but that was a bit of a score.
In all honesty, i doubt i'll ever bind the ujoint, my truck doesn't flex all that crazy and with the length of the DS, the angle on the yoke isn't that bad. If i can't find a 1330 yoke i'll just go with a 1350.
