I am having a time trying to decide on the powertrain combo to run in my new tubechassis toy buildup. Here is my trouble.
I am getting a complete Ford F250 with D60s, NP435/205. I also have a line on a 22re motor. I am wondering if it is possible to run a 22re to NP435? That would save me having to cut the Front D60 to make a passenger side drop. Are there any websites or adapters out there for this swap? Any suggestions?

Just drop in a 5.0 and that will fix your problem <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

what bellhousing does the np435 have? big block small block? you might as well go with a V8 in your buggy and screw the 22re.

The NP435 currently has a ford 400 in front of it. I want to keep the weight down on the vehicle so I don't really want to run the 400, plus I want to run fuel injection. There are a few options I have been thinking about running

1). 5.0 EFI ford to NP435 to 203/205 combo

2). 4.3 Vortec or TBI GM to NP435 to 203/205 combo

3). 22re to NP435 to 203/205 combo (22re would be free)

4). or any of the above motors with dual toy cases, but this would require tearing the D60 front apart and make it a passenger diff.

Any suggestions on which swap would be better or easier? Any other swap that would be better?
