Hey Guys,

First post here! I'm looking to put an nv4500 in my '93 k1500 auto, 350. I have a donor truck with all of the mechanicals (pedals, crossmember, steering column, etc.), and a separate guy with an nv4500 with a bellhousing and hydraulics from an '05 2500 silverado 4x4 (6.0 gas motor). He also has the '05 transfer case and is including that as well.

Now, I have two NP241's (one from my auto truck and one from the stick donor truck). Will I be able to bolt either NP241 to the '05 NV4500? I'm guessing I'll need to use the one from the stick truck (32 spline input). Or should I consider using the '05 transfer case? I don't know what model it is. I'm assuming it has electronic controls (as opposed to my existing floor shifter), which ought to make is unusable for me?

Also, what are the chances of my existing driveshafts working in this situation?

Any help you can give would be great - thanks!!
Mike

I would just put a 32 spline input into your 241 so you keep to linkage you have. That would be the best route imo.
