My father-in-law recently gave me an air compressor. the compressor portion of it is shot. So I figured that I would just use all the other parts to make an OBA system. I've done some research on the subject but I can't decide if I'll be able to use the regulator/switch in a 12v system seeing as it's a 110v switch. Will it work? or do I need to get another switch? And will an 11 gallon tank be overkill?

Thanks,
Rio

Yes, 110 switches are what we use, get at hardware store.
11 is overkill, but if you have the room,I would use it:D I too have an 11 gal that I retired, someday I'll see if I can use the takn on some 4x project:D

Only one shoudl be switched, though... the bare wire is ground, the white is common, the black is hot.

The black is usually the switched wire.. just use that for your 12v switch line, disregard the other two..
