To All, Theres allot of questions floating around regarding the Clean-up so I hope this post answers most of them.
If you havent signed up for a respective group please do from the main POR page.
The official sign in for the weekend will be at the Loon Lake entrance to the Rubicon at 9:00am and will be done by Jeff "Dogwalker". Look for his Camo Green FJ-40 and he'll get ya hooked up. If you are going into Spider on Friday Maniac Mike, myself and other Pirates should be at Spider by 9:00am. Once there we will be doing an additional sign-in for those people at the Lake. Details on Raffle tickets "quit work time" and other particulars will be given at that time.
After the sign everyone can get to cleaning and picking up trash or turds. If you are not sure where to lend a hand look for a Pirate and we'll steer you in the right direction
As far as the Turd Patrol is concerned we have a pretty good group of strong stomached folks.......and you'll need it
I will have one crew led by "Disco" taking care of the Spider Lake shitter and the work that needs to be done with it. I will have another crew led by "Flashlightman" taking care of the Ellis Creek shitter. These shitters need some work..........
1)rocks surrounding them,
2)Seats fixed,
3)walls patched,
4)if needed moved to a new location because of excess turdage.....at a minimum turds cleaned out of the basin's if needed.
Myself and the rest of the team will hit the Spider Lake and surrounding areas for all the turds and paper in the trees. This general area is a friggin mess! and we gotta hit it hard and be through. I will have plastic bags and gloves but I stress you to bring your own as well because they will go fast. My plan is to fully pick up all areas and place the full bags near the trails or common areas in plain site. After we think we have it completed we will designate a few rigs with truck beds or trailers to go gather the bags and dump them in a area for pick in the morning. I'll have a handout with the "To Do's" so we will all be in check.
All in all it be a long day but when we're done we'll be ready to play, have many cold Silver Sodas and grub! and the Raffle!! Come Awn! Thanks to all that are showing up!
E-mail me [email protected] if you have any questions or e-mail [email protected]
See you there!
