All .22 rifles should be wood and blued steel... period

While I can appreciate a good bluing and nice wood, I rarely ever shoot my nice wood stocked guns. I end up with my chassis guns doing 99% of the work for matches and hunting.

Then the ar's, they just get beat to death because who cares what they look like?
 
I picked up a couple Remington model 12 pump .22’s at an auction. According to the serial numbers they were manufactured in 1913 or 1914. I haven’t shot them yet but hope to soon.

The crescent butt plate one is nice, then I'm partial to that style stock.
