Hey everyone.

I just bought a 85 runner and it's got a little into it already. The onboard rancho air control thing for rs9000's and a 2" lift. What does everyone else think I should do now? I've got about $400 budget. Thanks for the help.

personally I would probably get a rear locker. You should be able to buy even a detroit for that. I am ordering mine this weekend ;p

Hey newbies one for each of ya! But 81hilux is right, I would go for the rear locker and learn to drive with it before you go any further.

i went to moab for my birthday(oct 19th)!! it cost about $400(me and the girlfriend) and i had a blast! pack your bags jump in your runner and go explore hells revenge, etc.

but a rear locker would be the best bang for the buck regarding 4wd performance...
head up to sacramento get a lockright for $229 at central 4wd, then take it and your diff in to river city diffs in rancho cordova on the way home. $40 and 20 minutes youre all set! then take the other $140 find some cheap used nerf bars .

If you have any fab skills, go to Blue Collar Supply and buy some steel and make some "Rock Solid" rock bars and still have money left over.
