Friend of mine had this lil doozy on an M4 today.

That hole is from the extractor supposedly breaking off into the cartridge. Not sure if it happened during FA or not.

My guess is an OOB shot combined with bad ~30 year old warehouse 5.56.

Edit: Was during FA fire.

Uh... how does FA work on that bolt carrier unless he was bump firing/took out the disconnector or something

EDIT: nevermind.... I thought one of the pics was of the rear of the carrier. Thats the FRONT
