I was wandering peoples opionion on how much different in flex an performance when you switch to full size axles on a 83 pickup. right now i have newer rear axle and two inch spacers up front. is it worth the work. i am running 5.29s arb up front welded in the rear. the other axles i have are 10 bolt front and rear

wider will give you more leverage on your springs = more flex. if you are breaking axles then yes upgrade, 30 spliners and a diamond housing or a 60. dont waste your time with a 44 or 10 bolt
