ok

i flexed my truck to the max in the rear to measure the shocks and i got

22" Fully Extended
and
16 1/2" at Full Stuff from center of shock mount to center of upper shock mount stud.

now, does this mean my suspension only has 5.5" of travel?

also, i did this to order shocks but the custom shocks i have seen that are even close to this measurement are:

26 1/2" Fully Extended and 15 1/2" Fully Compressed. Would these work?? I am guessing yes because the full compression still gives me an inch of leeway and the full extention is plenty! Am i right with this??

Thanks

Hey Mangler, where do you relocate the lower shock mounts to?
Example, Archies SOA he simply put the spring plates with the shock mount on the opposite sides, and on top of the spring pack.
DIdn't need new shocks (I don't know what his measurments are, or the sus. travel).
Seems like this would work for you too.
Am I missing something here?

****** I did used diffent springs, different axle and used the MORE shock mounts. I mounted them similar to the stock mounting (might move em later)and my existing shocks are WAYYYY too short.

I dont believe you still have that pic of you innocent younger brother as your icon.

I used the MORE's also. But put them on top of the axle. Straigt up and a little tilted towards the back of the axle.
