Here's some pics of Volvo C-303 portal parts. Here's the bigger gear of the reduction. It's about same size as mog is.
Well one friend of mine says that the land rover birfs could be modified to Volvo. He is working on them right now. He used to drive with Land Rover axles but has now built new car with Volvo axles (see the pic). He uses his car in Estland(?) for GPS competitions.9V said:so is the volvo birf the EXACT same birf as whats used in rovers? or just the same size? the bell looks a little beefier on the volvo one but its hard to tell.
what is the size/spline count of the axleshafts?
Yep, that's the place. Henke and Magnus were there and so far we haven't found any broken parts.jbt said:Did you get the axels from fjärrås bildemontering?
Did you have to change the CV boots or any seals?

they are. but there are aftermarket birfs available and when you take into account the portal reduction they really become quite strong.liveaxle said:I don't know much about these overseas axles but I thought I heard that the Defender 90 birfields are weak?
