Does anyone know if a rubber o-ring can be substituted for the OEM o-ring on the rear axle. My dealer doesn't have one in stock, won't have one before Monday and I would like to get the axles back in before the weekend. One of my original seals is still good the other has a very slight leak. Yes, I know I could reinstall the old ones, but I am trying not to do this twice.

If you are talking about the rear axle, then those o-ring just keep the dirt out. They dont really seal anything. They use sealed bearings. If you are leaking gear oil then it is the inner seal in the end of the axle housing.
