Trying to plan a weekend in northwest Arkansas in the national forests. Just wandering around on forest service roads, nothing extreme. Friend and I have a few Subarus. Probably tent camping wherever we end up each night, thinking a four day weekend but we're coming from northern IL so most of the trail riding would be Saturday/Sunday. Video from a little trail riding we did down there about a month ago:

I just went off-roading at Byrd's a couple of weeks ago. It's near Cass, Arkansas right on the boarder of the Ozark National Forest. I was in a tube-framed rock crawler, and the park is geared more towards that than what you were doing in your video. Awesome campground though!

While I was there I stopped at the Oark General Store in Oark, AR. I got a trail map in there for $13 that is amazing. Shows all the Roads, hiking trails, scenic spots, waterfalls, etc.

Also, the Redding Campground is just up the road from Byrd's. It appeared there were all kinds of pull off spots along the Mulberry to camp at as well. All along Hwy 215.

Not sure that's the area you're going to end up, but there are TONS of cool waterfalls and caves in that area. Hope that helps.
