Got my new motor put in and need advise or just conformation on fully stripping all of the EGR and all other nonsense on an 87 or 88 z24i motor? I have removed everything on firewall, fenders and intake manifold and am at a point to put anything back on if anything is required. I have traced back every vac line to its origin and capped it, removed the canister and other crap. I have vac going to brake booster only. Dizzy doesn't need it but I have read one comment about the fuel pressure regulator needing vac but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Yes I know it is a street truck but this is where I live and PBB knows everything:flipoff2:

Also, does anyone know how much can be shaved off this block and keep it on pump gas?

Going to build rebuild the broken one as a spare.
