Well its done. I ended up using a 7/16th pin, because all the 3/8's were to short. Then i had to redrill the holes to make it fit. Then i had to shave one of the bolts so the pin could slide by. But now i think i can take the door off in like 1 min =) But i still have 3 to go and then to test them.

I just made some last night. I use a 3/8 grade 5 hex ead cap screw that was 4" long then cut off the threads and cross drilled a hitch pin hole. I couldn't find any 3/8 pins that where long either so that is was I did. I also had to shave down one side of the bolt head so it would slip by also.

ok I'll go to it :
"our vehicles"
"specs list"
"custom cut top"
or "half doors" (theres a little link to it in there...
sorry about the confusion, I should label those separate in my specs instead of bunching them in with the cut top. anyway, thanks for looking at my site! and heres the direct link to the doors... http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Trails/3184/topless.html

I did the same trick to my 4runner. I have had it for at least a year, and it still holds up. Very helpful and time saving.

My quick release doesn't look like that. But I am waiting for the door to fall off on my drive to work. Yeah, I drive it to work, and I do have a job.

Good luck on finding doors for a 94 at a P-A-P. There are none in the P-A-P's in my area. I did get a slightly damaged door for $30.00 at TAP, Can you believe that. Instead of shaving the bolts, my buddy just put the pin it in from the bottom with a washer on top then the clip pin.
