I've done a little search and came up empty. I'm throwing a new axle in my CJ and was wondering if there is any specific way to no what my pinion angle should be? The spring perches aren't welded on yet so I can set it where ever works best.

Depends on your driveline setup.

With a double cardan, point the pinion right at the rear output of the tcase. If it were me, and with an SUA, I would point it just a few degrees below the output.

With a single cardan shaft, match the pinion angle to the rear output angle, so they are parallel.

Both pinion angles should NOT be inline with the Drivrshaft angle.
Keep the pinions fairly flat, you can tip them up a few degrees MAX.

The only time you match the pinion angle with the driveshaft angle, is if you have a fixed yoke output on the transfer case & a CV joint rear Drivrshaft.

OR ... if you cut off the knuckles & rotate them to fix the castor, you can then line up the front pinion with the front Drivrshaft.

Otherwise... Only tip them up a few degrees... Or your castor (front) will be in the negative (bad things will happen).
