what size are the fuel rails? how did you plumb your 5.0? fittings, lines, adaptors, ect. would like some options on what to use. i'm coming down to the wire, this and wiring is all i have left and i think i have the wiring figured out. thanks
I used some air brake line, it's 1/4" ID hard plastic like stuff that is fuel rated and rated to well over 100PSI best part is that it's $.55 a foot at the local Parker fluid store.
It's easy to do the fuel rail fittings by pulling the o-rings and heating the metal with a propane torch untill good and warm and pressing the line on, it will be obvious if it's a good fit or not but the plastic fittings at the fuel filter was a bit more work. I used a heat gun to warm the line and press the fittings in and some took a few tries, it a fine line between hot enough and too hot.
There is also fuel injected rubber hose that you can get from Napa but it's a bit more money (I think it was $4 a foot)
