Anyone know who makes this...

Its a portable welder, not an onboard unit, but looks alot like a battery booster pack that you can buy at AutoZone, etc. It has a small spool gun attatched and can be used to do small field repair welds and such. Any help would be appreciated...

Oh yeah, a search yeilds nothing...:D

I had already checked out their sire? That one just connects to your vehicle batteries, the one I want is a self -contained unit...:D

You mean this one???

I have one of these puppies and it works pretty darn good. Only drawback is, it's limited to about 60 inches of work before going Ka-put and how the hell do you charge it on the trail?? Maybe if you carry around a portable generator too... :D:D Or back at the motorhome, if you're rich...

BTW... Harbor Freight has the best price I found on this item. I got mine at Sears for $319. before I saw the HF price... :(
