Someone on another board posted that they were giving away (aka free) the rear axel out of a 90 XJ.

I guess I am wondering if this is a d44? Did 90 XJ's come with a d44? Or do they have the crappy d35c, which I would still take for free. Who knows, I may blow my d35c before I can do a swap. Heck, I might even lincoln lock it and just destroy it in the mean time.

I'd bet on a D35, maybe a C8.25. Doubt it's a D44, that's worth some bucks.

I just got an email from him and I am second in line for it. If the first guy falls through I will go pick it up, even if it is a D35c, spare parts would be nice in case of a blow-out.

Like I said, it was probably a stupid question. For a moment, I thought that a D44 was standard on some XJ's. So, thanks!
