Was the Dana 60 ring gear too big or too small?
Powr Lok 73546-X - anyone know the application?
I've got a Powr Lok that I thought was for a Dana 60 . . . but after trying to put a D60 ring gear on it, it's definitely not. I tried the Dana/Spicer website and it just says “Case Assemble” and “Unknown”. Date stamp is 2-9-88. Any help in identifying this would be appreciated . . . thanks.

Dana 60/70 Power-Loks look the same, but the 70 uses a slightly larger ring gear. You can take the top half of the case and all the internal components, including 35 spline side gears from the 70 case and put them in a 60 case. What is the spline count on your Power-Lok? Im sure someone on here knows what those numbers mean.
