Anyone have an original spicer manual for the powr lok? I would like to get my hands on one, I could send out a couple of bucks if needed?

I think I've got a photo-copy. Are you looking for information or trying to collect vintage Spicer stuff? If you want info, post up what you are looking for.

Need info, I'm swapping in 35 spline side gears, I got the kit and the case just need to know what order everything goes and any torque specs involved. I also heard I could leave a shim or clutch outto make it looser or add one to make it tighter, if I add do I have to add a steelie and clutch? Or one or the other? Thanks guys....

What are you doing with it?

In the OE FRONT applications, Dana stacked the clutches to minimize the friction for legal reaso tirens - if it "hooked up" and both front tires spun, the customer could lose steering control and kill themselves.

If your using it in any real hd application, especially with big tires, run it with alternating drive and driven clutches for maximum performance.
