They snap directly into the stock seat bases and there is a ez release strap that attaches to the base for easy removal.

Yes, you will lose about 1" of leg room. I'm 6' 4" and I could get away with using them ,as long as I had a 5 point harness to hold me back in the seat. They are also the widest seat on the market fitting up to a 48" waistand The mounting base's have an angled back to maximize the leg room, so they slide as far back as possible.

Poly is changing there system and they are going to get them up in february.

yes they are.. we have not released a rear harness bar yet for the teryx 4.
