I just wanted to make sure before I go ahead and place my order for the Pro Tools Model 105 bender.

The Pro Tools site lists the Pro Model 105 and a 105 HD (Heavy Duty). The HD is needed (according to the Pro Tools site) to bend 2" diameter dies.

Rockbuggy Supply says that the Pro Model 105 can bend from 1/2" to 2" but it doesn't list it as a HD.

Can anyone clarify this for me? I will be bending 2", probably 2"OD-.120.
I don't want to spend the extra money if it's not needed.

I bought the MB105 and a 240 deg 1 1/4 pipe die. The bender I have bends 1 1/4 pipe very easily I think it will bend 2" tube as well. After using my bender I think a guy might use the HD model if he plans on getting a heavy hydro set up. I think the hydro set up might put more stress on the bender and the thicker arms would hold up better. That's just my own opinion. I would call Allen at Rockbuggy supply,he is very freindly and has alot of good information.

you can use the standard 105 for 2" but if you plan on bending 2" on a daily basis then i would go for the hd
