The front doesnt do very well right now. I have some crappy leaf springs with stock shackles on there so that I can roll it around. I will have some 44044s with longer shackles for MAD FLEX. I am really impressed with the rear so far. There is not even a bed on there. It flexes pretty good for having no weight on it.

EDIT: fixed the pic.

not to be an a-hole but if thats chevs that sucks. On another note when i wass putting my stock waggs on while building my ride I got a chain and my hoist and hooked to the front drives side axle and liftes it and it pulled a whopping 6inches of travel but now on the ramp it pulles 18 w/o any changes. Anyone care to help splain that?

I know. BUT, there is only a 160lb person on the back instead of the 400 lbs or so that WILL BE on there. A big difference. I wish I had some weight I tie on the back. And I will have 38.5x14.50 SXs mounted on 15x10 wheels with 3" backspacing. The extra width will help too.

Looks good. You could probably run a longer shackle too when you get the be back on

Hmmm... looks familiar except for them long ass springs.

I like what you did with the gas tank. Better clearance and it centers up the weight of the tank. Hope you have better luck than I did with mine!

63" chevys.

And yes, I will have longer shackles when I get some money to buy some. I may try to build some, but not in a hurry. I need to get the front springs first.

Benny and ImighthaveaYota: Are you both planning on building some kind of tube-framed bed in the future or further hacking a stock bed and making it fit? This Ext. cab idea looks really neat and I am playing with the idea of doing it in the future on my 85 reg cab. What are the major mods involved?

I was planning a tube flatbed with built-in rollbar. The truck got trashed on its first outing though. Today I found a 4Runner[!] so the good stuff (gears, lockers, tires, etc.) will go from the truck to the Runner.

All you have to do is move the rear body mounts back. Fairly simple if you have access to a welder. You can double bob a normal Toyota bed, but I want a flatbed. Not set on the design yet, but most likely gonna be totally flat.
